The Vision Statement for St Joseph 's speaks of a holistic and integrated approach to educating the whole person in the vision of Mary MacKillop. This requires an education in Faith. Hence central to all curriculum offerings at St Joseph 's school are the Gospel Values that permeate all areas of the Curriculum in both explicit an implicit teaching. The integration of these values in the formal and informal curriculum strives to provide students with an excellent education for life.

There is a strong emphasis on academic learning which is the main focus of our life at school. Subject units are sequential to Year 12 where a wide range of accredited subjects under the Senior Secondary Assessment Board of South Australia (SSABSA), are offered. The information provided on this CD demonstrates the broad, innovative and relevant offerings here at St Joseph’s. Our curriculum is supported by excellent teaching and learning facilities, as well as excellent, well qualified and experienced staff. All of this offers our students the best possible chance of success.

Both subject and career counseling are conducted conscientiously so that students make responsible choices enabling them to pursue meaningful employment or further education opportunities.
